The brilliant product placement moment nobody caught + my step-by-step sponsorship playbook...

Hey you!

The creator economy is absolutely CRUSHING IT right now, and I've got some insane insights to share about, arguably one of the biggest crossovers of our generation.

Here's what we're covering today:

  • Paul vs. Tyson: The Future of Creator Business

  • How Logan Paul Showed Us the Perfect Product Placement

  • My Proven Formula for Landing YouTube Sponsorships

Let's dive right in!

The Creator Economy's $14 Million Knockout

Okay, let me paint this picture for you…

60 MILLION households just tuned into Netflix to watch Jake Paul take on Mike Tyson.

That's not just big - that's absolutely massive!

But here's the part that fired me up...

Did you catch that moment when Logan Paul sprayed Jake with W (his bodycare brand) right after the victory?

A very smart move!

This wasn't just a celebration - it was a masterclass in creator business strategy.

And speaking of W... they just locked in $14 million in funding!

Here's why this is a game-changer for creator-led businesses:

  1. Built-in audiences are gold for investors (think about it - instant market validation)

  2. Creators have something traditional celebrities don't - real trust with their audience

  3. Multiple revenue streams = lower risk (smart money loves this)

Side note: This reminds me of when MrBeast launched Feastables. Everyone thought creators couldn't compete with big brands... Now look where we are!

Even last Friday at the PSU Men's Basketball game last Friday… one of our fans recognized Austin.

And the first thing he asked was, "Do you have any Sunflower Seeds on you?"

Further proof that brands can reach new audiences (Gen Z) by partnering with creator-led businesses!

The Blueprint: How to Land Your First YouTube Sponsorship

Listen up, because I'm about to share the exact playbook we use at TDAY for landing sponsorship deals.

First off, forget everything you've heard about needing millions of subscribers.

That's old thinking.

Here's what ACTUALLY matters in 2024:

Know Your Numbers

Your engagement rate is WAY more important than your subscriber count. Brands want to see real connection with your audience.

Build That Media Kit

Make it pop! Include:

  • Your channel's story (brands love this)

  • Clear audience demographics

  • Your best performing videos

  • Previous collaboration highlights

Start Small, Think Big

Real talk - your first deal might not be huge. But remember, every MrBeast started somewhere. Use these early deals to prove your value.

Keep It Real

Only partner with brands you actually love. Your audience can smell fake enthusiasm from a mile away!

Pro tip: We actually increased our sponsorship rates by 300% using this approach last year. Wild, right?

Quick Life Update

It’s Global Entrepreneurship Week at Penn State and I just wrapped up my longest keynote ever - a full 2-hour workshop on "How to Go from $0 to $10k/Month Using LinkedIn" 😎

The energy in the room was incredible! We had a packed house here in State College, plus an amazing virtual crowd joining us from all over.

Having both in-person and Zoom attendees created this really dynamic environment where we could share strategies and learn from each other's experiences.

I broke down everything I've learned about:

  • Landing high-value partnerships

  • Generating consistent sales

  • Building genuine connections on LinkedIn

  • Creating content that actually converts

For those who couldn't make it - don't worry!

I'm planning more workshops like this in the future.

The response has been overwhelming, and it's clear there's a real hunger for practical LinkedIn strategies that actually work.

Have a blessed rest of your week!

Justin
